Practice Tracks was established in 2008 to help anyone who sings songs. We found that there was a need for clean piano accompaniments of the commercially available sheet music, topline-only tracks, vocal range finders and vocal exercises. Whether it be to practice for an audition or just to learn a song more accurately, Practice Tracks give you the tools you need!

Practice Singing!

If you do not have access to a piano or cannot play it can be difficult to practice singing a particular song. By offering piano backing tracks for many popular songs you can practice singing accurately with musical director and leading vocal coach, Tom Wakeley. With over 700 popular songs from many West End and Broadway musicals, and other famous songs of several genres, Tom helps you practice.

All you need is your computer with a freely available MP3 player and you can have a professional vocal coach to help you practice. Each song has a piano backing track (as written in the commercially available sheet music), a piano top-line - melody only - and a few words about the song, all for just £1.99 GBP You can listen to a short extract before you buy. Tracks are categorized into Musicals, composers, lyricists and genres to help you find just what you are looking for. Downloads are quick and easy with Paypal.

Leading Vocal Coach, Tom Wakeley

Tom Wakeley is the Vocal Coach at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and has worked on many shows in London’s West End. For more information about Tom, see the about page. Tom plays all the piano backing tracks and exercises himself, and also provides these useful audition tips.

When it comes to learning to sing, vocal exercises can be very important. In Tom's five-day vocal exercise regime you have a structured vocal programme to follow each day of the week (Monday through to Friday).
